The cost of installing a level 2 charger will vary depending on whether or not a new electrical outlet or electrical circuit needs to be installed and whether or not the chargers are hardwired. An easy installation that requires installing a 240-volt outlet may cost around $500, installations requiring an outlet and a new 40-50A electrical circuit may cost around $1000, and installing a hardwired charger or a charger in a home with an old electrical system that requires a new electrical circuit of 100A can cost $2000 or more.
This depends on your jurisdiction. If a permit is needed, our professionals at Nu-Trend can secure the proper permits.
What Our Clients Say
Qmerit set me up with Nu-Trend and I couldn’t be happier with their work. They were incredibly responsive and had great communication all the way from scheduling the first visit for a quote through the install and follow up with the inspection.
The installers were great! They were friendly, punctual, quick, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves while installing the breaker, charger, and a cable run of about 40′. I would absolutely hire them again for electrical work.
David and Junior installed our OE EV charger and upgraded our electrical panel. They were super friendly, knowledgeable, and checked with us on the most minor of changes. Looks great, works great! Awesomesauce!
We had Nu-Trend add an EV charging port to our garage which was organized via Qmert, who contracted Nu-Trend to do the installation. I first met Dave, who came out to inspect the job site and put together a quotation; he is an excellent, Knowledgeable, and professional electrician. Shane at Nu-Trend took care of all the paperwork which includes a work permit from the local council and inspection after installation. Dave and a co-work who was also excellent came to the house and did the installation in about half a day, the quality of the workmanship is impeccable. The work passed Inspection with flying colors.
Had a level-2 charger circuit installation done by Nu-Trend. They were referred by Qmerit, the authorized GM contractor. Nu-Trend has done an excellent job overall – pulling the necessary permits, keeping me appraised of the parts purchase, installation quality, and cleaning up after the install. The charger works great and is line pulled is visually good as well. It took a while to have the actual installation scheduled, but that is expected with market demand for qualified electricians.
